plaga zombie - zona mutante
madre dios! they shot this over four years? uno....dos.......
its insane. easy to pic a favorite of the three main characters. then change your mind as the film goes on, i was gonna say "progresses" but ....nah. they're good heroes, each have an individual charisma and as a trio..they got a gimmick - you can get behind em and root...i know which one i would root. max, you are gonna love max and what he does to max - john west is a badass to the point you ignore what he's wearing and admire his leopard print machismo. i keep the cutey...his eyes are too close together and lovely...
the fights are excellent, no down time, zany splat stick but extra splat and that weird uneasy feeling you get when hispanich is spoken and you can tell the actors don't care how dirty they are...its just thick and nasty. muckthick like EVIL DEAD sped up breakdown and Lionel's lawnmower in BraINDEad.
they've mastered getting laughed at and laughed with....
these guys are friggin funny, i guess it took 4 years cuz those damn people are so lazy
FBI scum..close up mouth shot on a monitor, the usual gray alien, shot in the streets and residences....its a mess....the humor is that wide eyed over excited beaner stuff...its fun fun...i love cultures that are so free of self image that they make faces ...that's why I like Chinese.
its got a Troma vibe to it. i needed to see something like this.... I just can't believe Weems scoped this one....i mean ....its actually fucking good!

. Since they finished PLAGA ZOMBIE: ZONA MUTANTE, Farsa Productions has been working on FILMATRON, a sci-fi/adventure movie. They next plan on shooting THE DAY THE SKY TURNED RED, an alien-invasion epic to be co-producted by Argentina, Chile and Spain
